The publication entitled “Ashgabat” is published in honor of the 25th anniversary of neutrality

In current year, Turkmenistan celebrates its 25th anniversary since obtaining the status of permanent neutrality of the country. In honor of this significant date, various events, forums, exhibitions and concerts are organized in Turkmenistan, as well as beyond its boundaries. This chain is enriched by the special illustrated publications published in the country. One of such publications is the book entitled “Ashgabat.”

The capital of Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan - Ashgabat has become the true center of peace, harmony and friendship between people. 

The given book is divided into four sections which consist of “Ashgabat – Reconciliation Center of the Region,” “Ashgabat in the Guinness World Records Book,” “Buildings of the Capital” and “Ashgabat is the City of Parks.” The book vividly describes the fact that numerous buildings constructed in Ashgabat city have received awards at the architectural competitions held at the international level, which serves as clear evidence that the huge progress achieved in the development of the Turkmen capital is recognized by the world community and Ashgabat is strengthening its position along with the most beautiful cities in the world.

Taking into consideration that in the Epoch of Might and Happiness one of the main tasks of the state policy is transforming our country into the blossoming garden, numerous parks of the city are beautifully demonstrated in the book. It is also stated that according to the determination of the environmentalists, Ashgabat turning in the pearl of Asia is presently becoming one of the cities of the planet densely planted by trees.
