CONSUL GENERAL OF TURKMENISTAN TO THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN MET WITH THE HEAD OF MISSION OF THE MFA OF IRAN

Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the newly appointed Head of Mission of the MFA of Iran for Northeast regions, Ahmad Masumifar.

         At the beginning of the meeting, Ahmad Masumifar warmly congratulated the entire Turkmen people on the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and wished for further prosperity of Turkmenistan.
In his turn, Consul General of Turkmenistan thanked for the congratulations and wished Ahmad Masumifar successes in his new position.

The importance of the visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Islamic Republic of Iran on June 15-16, 2022 and the Memorandum of Understanding on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation signed during the visit between the Mary welayat of Turkmenistan and the Khorasan Razavi province of Iran was also noted. It was emphasized that the upcoming visit of the delegation led by the governor of the Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi is given great importance from the point of view of the practical implementation of the Memorandum.
