Turkmen wrestlers win three medals of ethnic festival “The World of Nomads”

Turkmen wrestlers take part in International Ethnic Festival “The World of Nomads”, which is held in Saudi Arabia.

The main goal of the festival is to protect and revive national sports, to popularize cultural diversity and to activate international humanitarian dialog.

Around 2,000 sportsmen from 90 countries take part in current competitions contesting in national wrestling, intellectual games, archery and horse riding.

For seven days of the competitions, Turkmenistan National team won one gold medals in ‘gyoresh’, silver medal in Kyrgyz wrestling ‘alysh’ and bronze on Korean ‘ssirym’.
