A ROUND TABLE DEVOTED TO THE FIRST CASPIAN ECONOMIC FORUM TO BE HELD IN THE AVAZA NATIONAL TOURIST ZONE WAS HELD IN BAKU

On 12 June 2019, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the Center for the Study of International Relations of Azerbaijan, held a round table discussion on the first Caspian Economic Forum, which will be held on 12 August this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

The event was attended by the heads and employees of diplomatic missions accredited in Baku, deputies, representatives of financial, economic and investment organizations, experts, scholars and Turkmen students studying in Azerbaijan.

Speakers at the meeting, stressing that the initiative to hold the first Caspian Economic Forum belongs to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noted the important place occupied by Turkmenistan in regional and international transport and logistics relations, the presence in Turkmenistan of rich natural resources, large modern infrastructure facilities and prospects for international cooperation in this direction.
