Briefing dedicated to the 25th anniversary of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan was held in Tokyo

On August 24, 2020, a briefing organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan with the theme of “Neutral Turkmenistan: Lever of Peace and Prosperity” was held in Tokyo.

The Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Inter-parliamentary Friendship League Mr.Endo Toshiaki, head of the Secretariat of the given League   Mr.Matsushita Shinpei, as well as a number of representatives of the Parliament of Japan, MFA of Japan and the representatives of mass media participated to the event.

Addressing the audience at the briefing, Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Japan spoke about the uniqueness of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, its role in promoting the international cooperation. It was stated that peace-loving, equality, non-interference in the affairs of other states, non-participation to the military blocs, carrying out mutually beneficial cooperation are the integral constituents of the policy of positive Neutrality.
