Dear media representatives!

Dear members of the delegations!

Ladies and gentlemen!

I express my deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev for accepting the invitation to participate in the trilateral meeting.

Today's meeting is truly a historically important event, since during the talks we discussed pressing issues of strengthening cooperation, including those related to the most important aspects in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Currently, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan pursue a fair and open policy not only in the region, but also in the world as a whole, within the framework of authoritative international structures, in particular the United Nations. The main policy we are implementing is based on mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit and is aimed at strengthening peace and prosperity in the region and in the world as a whole.

Having also touched upon the economic aspect, we agreed that the great potential of our countries is intended to give a new impetus to the implementation of geo-economic interests not only in the region, but also in all of Eurasia. In this regard, a number of examples can be given.

If we talk about electric power, then in this area there is a positive experience of cooperation, tested by time. We also noted the presence of prospects for strategic cooperation in the gas sector between the three countries and declared our readiness to discuss issues in this area.

One of the priority vectors of partnership between the three states is the transport sector. We also noted the presence of great opportunities for the active use of the infrastructure potential of the transport corridors connecting Asia and Europe along the route of the Great Silk Road. In particular, the importance of effectively using the transit potential of Central Asia and the Caspian region was noted.

During the summit, we reached agreements on creating favorable conditions for the further development of large-scale humanitarian ties between the peoples of the three fraternal countries. Of course, cooperation in this area includes such humanitarian spheres as science, education, healthcare, sports, culture, song and music art, carpet weaving, horse breeding, etc.

Dear people!

In general, these meetings open up new opportunities. In this regard, I express my firm confidence that at present there are all the conditions for our countries to achieve the goals they have set for themselves.

Taking this opportunity, on my own behalf, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people, I wish peace and prosperity to the fraternal peoples of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan!

Thank you very much, dear brother Ilham Heydar oglu and dear brother Shavkat Miromonovich!
