Turkmen-Iranian relations are developing at a high pace

On October 28-30, 2024, the Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran paid a working visit to Mazandaran province of Iran.

During the visit, the Consul General held a meeting with the Governor of Mazandaran province Yusef Nuri, Head of Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Ali Tagipour and the General director of Amirabad seaport Muhammadali Musapur.

During the meetings, the parties exchanged views on political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, and in particular, on the development of cooperation in Caspian region between Turkmenbashi international seaport and Amirabad ports.
