The “Festival of unity of fraternal nations” was held on Magtymguly Square in the Bender-turkmen city of Iran

The Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in the "Festival of Unity of fraternal Turkmen-Kazakh-Iranian nations" held in Magtymguly Square, Bender-Turkmen city, Golestan Province, Iran.

In their speeches, the guests emphasized the friendly and brotherly relations of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Iran, and noted that their common culture, history and traditions contribute to strengthening the unity of the peoples.

The speakers also noted that on behalf of the 300th anniversary of the the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, this year in Turkmenistan is being celebrated under the slogan «Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi».

Then the guests took part in the opening ceremony of the stone monument to the book of the divan of the great poet on Magtymguly Square in the city of Bender-Turkmen and noted the indelible mark of the poet in world literature.

At the end of the event, participants watched performances dedicated to the cultural traditions of the Turkmen and Kazakh peoples, as well as musical performances with great enthusiasm.
