The Consul General of Turkmenistan presented the copy of the Consular Patent to the head of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in Mashhad

On 8 October 2025, the Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran (Mashhad) Guvanchmyrat Atayev had a meeting with the head of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in Mashhad Ahmad Masumifar.

The Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran (Mashhad) G.Atayev presented the copy of the Consular Patent to the head of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in Mashhad Ahmad Masumifar.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized that due to the efforts of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries continues to develop consistently on the basis of the principles of good neighbourliness, respect and trust. 

In addition, the issues related to trade-economic, as well as transport-communications cooperation between the two countries was addressed at the meeting.

The parties also discussed collaboration in the field of science, education and healthcare between Turkmenistan and Iran.
